The Ion Xe is available in either 2,048 or 12,288 outputs, and provides support for up to two external monitors. The master playback faders can be supplemented with virtual faders or a variety of other options.

3/31/2020 · Ion XE and ION legacy (upgraded), the XE will power on and power off the legacy, the legacy will not power on the XE , it will power it down. Connected through network port 1 on the XE . Typically the XE is primary and the legacy is back-up, however we are working on implementing Midi and since the legacy has midi native built in, why not use it.
